Good Future for Drone Power

  • EM Quantum Technology
The market for drone hardware and software could generate an additional $50 billion in revenue in the next two decades. This shows investors that drones are  not just a fad for the weekend hobbyist but an essential tool of a new era no different from a hammer and saw.  Goldman Sachs estimates the drone market will reach $100 billion by 2020. The increasing demand for drone products keeps going strong with no end in sight. Mining, agriculture, energy, law enforcement, insurance, communications and military… Anything you can imagine that puts people in dangerous situations a drone can do, safer and more efficiently. According to Boston Consulting we have only scratched the surface of the potential for drone use and should see a large increase in U.S. and Europe drone fleets up to 1 million strong over the next 20 years.

In the future, drones will do everything from delivering your groceries to changing light bulbs in high places. They will do many of the tasks we do ourselves. Drone power will bring a new dimension to military capabilities, extending autonomous missions using detection-and-avoidance technology. Hybrids will emerge that fuse robotics and drones together to create a new workforce in building and policing. Traffic control will identify and track drones in critical airspace. Artificial Intelligence will use data to automatically modify drone missions and drive a multitude of commercial applications. For investors it looks like a prosperous era in the drone market segment.
